Terms and Condition

  1. Orders can be placed through our website, by email, fax, post or telephone. In order to avoid communication errors we strongly recommend that orders be placed in writing via our website, email or fax. We guarantee the accuracy of written orders, however, we accept no responsibility for errors as a result of verbal miscommunication.
  2. Customer Service Policy: We pride ourselves on the speed of our service. Orders are processed the same day they are received. We cannot guarantee dispatch times in situations affected by circumstances beyond our control. Once the order has been processed, any changes will be treated as a new order. Elektra Life is committed to providing exceptional customer service and quality products. We endeavour to make sure that all products listed on our website are currently in stock and pricing is true and correct. Standard delivery time frames are between 2-5 business days for Australia and 8-15 business days international; in the event that an ordered item is not available or we are unable to fulfil your order we will notify you within 2 business days to arrange an agreeable alternative item, a backorder or a full refund.
  3. International orders must be paid in AUSTRALIAN DOLLARS – AUD $ –  via Visa, Mastercard, Direct Bank Deposit or Paypal. If you are paying with credit card or Paypal, your local currency will be converted by these platforms to the AUD currency according to the rate of the day. Credit card or Paypal credit card payments are limited to $1,000.  Purchases over this amount can be made via direct deposit.
  4. If any item is short delivered and has been charged for, Elektra Life will be more than happy to cover the cost of freight in resending the goods as soon as possible. Please note items are not backordered and need to be re-ordered at the time they become available.

PAYMENT METHOD

  1. All orders must be paid for prior to shipping.
  2. We accept Visa or MasterCard, or PayPal via online shopping cart. We also accept Direct Bank Deposits.  Orders can be delayed, as we will have to wait for funds to be cleared before shipping the products.
  3. Cheques and Money Orders are to be made out to Elektra Life Pty Ltd. Cheques and Money Orders must be received at our postal address P.O. Box 1347 Nerang Qld 4211, Australia, before the order can be dispatched. Please record your order reference # / and name on the back of the cheque or money order.

PRICING and TAXES

  1. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  2. GST is applied to all orders within Australia on taxable items including freight. We cannot waive GST unless required documentation is supplied for Australian EXPORT orders.
  3. International orders may incur import duties and taxes applicable to the destination of shipment that Elektra Life cannot be responsible for. Once the freight arrives in your country via the postal system, it is your responsibility, including any applicable local duties or taxes. If you have questions about these taxes please contact your local customs office.
  4. All online product prices are quoted ex warehouse at Nerang, Queensland (4211), and do not include shipping and transportation costs to destination.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders cancelled after 24 hours of the time of order placement will incur a 20% restocking fee.

SHIPPING

  1. ORDER DISPATCH :  We do our best to dispatch orders within 1 business day. Please allow some extra time for the delivery of your order by Australia Post – auspost.com.au. After the order is lodged online you will receive an email notice from our website with your parcel tracking number to follow its progress.
  2. FREE SHIPPING offered excludes 9kg and 20kg sizes, but includes all other products for order values over $150 (Australia and New Zealand), and over $200 for US customers (retail only).  Freight calculation is based on shopping cart contents, weight, volume and destination, and is shown at the checkout before payment.
  3. Elektra Life has accounts with a number of major courier companies and Australia Post. We will arrange freight through these accounts for you unless you require shipping through your own courier. If you wish to use your own courier we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage once goods leave our warehouse. Please advise your national or international account number and contact details of your preferred courier with your order.
  4. The customer assumes all risk upon delivery to Australian destinations. It is assumed that authority is given to leave freight at the nominated address if no one is there to receive it.  If the customer wishes not to have the freight left at the address if no one is in attendance, then the customer accepts responsibility for any second delivery charges from the courier company.
  5. International shipping may require legal documents for export purposes, depending on country of destination.  Elektra Life Pty Ltd will do its best to provide service support, however the customer accepts full responsibility for customs clearance in their country if applicable. If for any reason the order is not able to be shipped to the destination country, the customer will be advised by email, with order refunded if the payment had been made.
  6. If the customer lists the wrong address in their order, then the cost of resending to another address will be bourne by the customer. If Elektra Life Pty Ltd made an error in address label for delivery, which was not listed by the customer on the order, then Elektra Life will bear the cost of re-sending the order to the listed address as per customer order.
  7. If the order has been lost in transit, Elektra Life Pty Ltd will report it to the courier for investigation and inform the customer of updates. If the courier cannot locate the parcel/s, and after confirmation thereof by the courier/postal system, then a replacement of the order will be organised if insurance has been selected at the time of order. Once the order is dispatched, the customer takes full responsibility for the goods in transit. If there is no transit insurance selected in the customer order, Elektra Life Pty Ltd will apply for reimbursement of the postal charge (courier fee) on behalf of the customer.

RETURNS and REPLACEMENTS

  1. Any order discrepancies must be reported via email (see contact page) including photographs of products order within 7 days of receiving your order. Make sure to note order number in correspondence. No returns or exchange will be allowed after 7 days from receipt of your order.
  2. Goods must be re-packed carefully for return and the package must include copy of your invoice/packing slip, name, contact information and copy of email notice to explain why the goods are being returned. Whether you require a credit or a replacement, it is extremely important to provide as much detail as possible about what you are returning so that the return can be processed accurately and promptly.
  3. Errors made by clients when placing their order (ie. wrong product) can be returned if reported within 7 days and products are unopened and in original condition. This will incur the 20% restocking fee. Return freight will be at customer’s expense. 20% Restocking Fee covers costs of time and labour involved with returning goods to the warehouse.
  4. In the case of product returns, it may be necessary for clients to return goods by Australia Post (or equivalent international post), in which case, reimbursement of return freight costs will be included in refund/credit (only if the error is on Elektra Life behalf). International returns can be accepted due to manufacturing fault, or wrong product (ie. not as per order). Please ensure full tracking details (airway bill or tracking number) are provided in order to monitor the speed of the parcel being sent back.

PRIVACY POLICY

Elektra Life is dedicated to keeping your details private. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/swap any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders, provide you with our monthly newsletter (if applicable) and to personalise your shopping experience with us; that’s all. Elektra Life uses cookies to allow you to login to your account, maintain a shopping cart and to purchase items in your shopping cart. Cookies sent to your computer from Elektra Life only last while you’re browsing our website. We do not store persistent cookies on your computer.
